Within the scope of segment reporting, pursuant to the IFRS 8 regulations, the business activities of the GILDEMEISTER group have been differentiated into the business segments of “Machine Tools”, “Services”, “Energy Solutions” and “Corporate Services”. The segment differentiation follows the internal management and reporting on the basis of the different products and services. The demarcation of the segments or the determination of the segment results remains unchanged from 31 December 2010. Further details on business development are included in the “Segments” section.
